# Delete a brand (/docs/brands/delete)



Delete a brand by ID:

```

A successful response returns the ID and `deleted: true`. Deleting a missing brand returns `404`.

Before deleting a brand, review its trackers and any application records that store its ID. If you only want to stop recurring checks, pause or delete the tracker instead of removing the brand.
