You only spend credits on metered work — AI queries, rank checks, and keyword data — priced from what each call actually costs us at DataForSEO and the AI providers, plus a small margin. Creating brands, storing snapshots, and reading your history never cost credits. Each scheduled tracker run costs the same as a manual visibility check.

Can I try Trackee before paying?

Yes. You get 100 free credits when you sign up — no credit card required. Test the APIs, the MCP server, and the dashboard, and upgrade when you're ready.

What's a credit?

A credit is the unit for metered work. Reading data — brands, snapshots, history — is free. Running AI visibility checks, rank checks, and keyword lookups spends credits based on what they actually cost us to run. See the table above.

Do failed requests spend credits?

No. You're only charged for successful calls — if a request errors out, it's free and never counts against your credits.

Why does Keyword Volume have a 20-credit minimum?

Keyword Volume is billed at 1 credit per keyword, but with a 20-credit floor per call. The upstream data has a fixed cost per request regardless of how many keywords you send, so the minimum keeps small lookups sustainable. Batches above 20 keywords are billed per keyword as usual — send more keywords per call to get the most value.

What happens when I run out of credits?

Your plan's credits reset each billing cycle, and we email you as you get close to your monthly limit so you're never caught off guard. Need more mid-month? Buy a pay-as-you-go pack — those credits never expire and are used after your monthly allowance.

Which AI models and search engines are covered?

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity, plus Google search and Google AI Overviews.

Is there a rate limit?

Yes, per plan: 40 (Free), 60 (Starter), 180 (Standard), and 600 (Pro) requests per minute. It's throughput protection, separate from your monthly credits.

Can I use Trackee without writing code?

Yes. Use the dashboard directly, or connect the MCP server and ask an AI agent about your brand in plain language — no code needed.

How does support work?

Can I change or cancel my plan?

Upgrade any time and it takes effect immediately. You can change or cancel your plan whenever you like from Billing settings in your dashboard — no lock-in.
